WHAT IS EARLY VOTING? Early
Voting is a process that allows any registered voter to cast a
ballot prior to Election Day at the Vote Center for the Danville
Election Commission. Early Voters must be registered voters prepared to present a
valid picture ID showing their current voter registration address.
Once an Early Vote is cast, it cannot be rescinded.
No reason is necessary for voting
early. Ballots cast early are tabulated at the Courthouse
Annex on Election Day, by teams of Election Judges, after the polls
close.

Regular in-person absentee voting
which also does not require a reason, is available through March
19, 2012 as
well as on
Saturday, March 17, 2012.
